I personally believe that students’ life at the college is more then studying hard, writing assignments and taking exams. It is also about socializing, enhancing communicating skills, learning noble ethics and personality development so as to shape respectable and responsible country men.In that respect, Govt. Degree College Doda has a very long tradition and our staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while at the same time offering a wide menu of exciting and challenging academic programs. Our extensive menu of extra-curricular activities, both academic and recreational, is unsurpassed. Rigorous academic procedures, commitment to quality education, extensive investment, solid management and continuous development are the principles that have raised the College’s profile and shaped its growth in the last 20 years. All the staff members are strongly committed for imparting education to the young buds and have a long teaching and professional experience, besides it has been the frontline objective of the College to inculcate a deep sense of ethics and morality among the students ever since its inception.
The college, passing through its 24th year of dedicated service to the society and being accredited with hundreds of its successful alumni, is revered for its proud contribution in the field of Higher education.
The corner stone of the college is the high caliber, knowledge-centric and career-conscious teaching community and diligent and efficient officials who are always eager to help the students to pursuit knowledge, career and success.
Here, I take the opportunity to congratulate the present students on their success in different fields and express my heart-felt thanks to the faculty-members.
We are proud of all that we have accomplished until now. We are also confident of the prospects that open for both our students and the College in the future. However, there is still a lot to do and achieve and I am hopeful of this new session to be a brighter one and a heralder of a new glory to the college. It is in this faith that we offer to you an educational experience which is shaped by commitment, enthusiasm, discipline, effectiveness, insight and creativity: an educational experience which can withstand the demands of the contemporary world.
