DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY
The Department of Zoology of this college was established in the year 2001. Presently there are 02 permanent faculty members and one contractual to teach three Zoology classes of B.Sc. Part-I,II and III. The department also has ministerial staff to assist the teachers in the teachings. The department has established laboratory wherein different species, models and charts of animals have been kept. Moreover the staff and students have been participating in extracurricular activities. The department has track result of above 80% for last 2 years. Lastly, the department has maintained its reputation and is on the path of progress.
Zoology is of great economic value. It is of great advantage to man in several ways. It is an essential background for the study of medicine, apiculture, Sericulture, Fishery, Poultry, Genetics and Conservation of wildlife. The Zoology helps for the welfare of human being. It also provides variety of jobs like teaching, research and employment in industries.
